I, too began to crochet, knit and sew at a young age, thanks to both grandmother's and my mother. Although my own girls didn't enjoy my love for such things, they do look to me for crafty sodas. Barb, I have bought and read a lot of beginner books. Yours is by far the best written and the projects are really something that someone would want do. I can't wait to read and easily understand each pattern. I'm so excited to get started, thank you for this book, Nettie.
As someone just starting out, I found this book to be easy enough to understand but challenging enough to keep my interest without scaring me off. Wish there were more projects but this is a beginner book so I guess this is just right.
I liked this book a lot and will be using the. Basic patterns to work from. Nice to be able to go into my stash and make scarves and hats in different sizes and colors. The other patterns are nice quick carry along projects too.
Great book for those who are starting crochet as a hobby or don't have alot of spare time for one.or maybe you need a quick bunch of cool gifts .This books instructions are easy to follow.if you have little ones you will really like the minion hats in a choice of good and evil lol.whatever you choose to create I wish you Happy Crocheting!
