A very comprehensive system that is well worth your investment in health!

This edition has been phenomenally improved! I owned the original published more than thirty years ago. The photos and illustrations clearly demonstrate various tests, point locations, acupressure principles, etc. The binding and protective cover have been completely redesigned. This manual contains a wealth of proactive health balancing and maintainence information, well organized for those who are being first introduced to the system. The acupressure sections of the book contain a wealth of traditional and innovative new information presented clearly and concisely. Highly recommended.

Laid out for someone like myself who didn't know anything about the human body, I never had an anatomy class or any other medical classes in college: this book is written in easy to understand format. Outstanding book that was recommended to me by my chiropractor. I have not taken time to cover as much I would have liked due to time and priorities. If you are thinking about getting one get it now because this book seems to go out of stock everywhere w/o notice. Last time I looked people were trying to get $1,000 for a new book because no one had them in stock. I have four copies now.

This goes into much more detail than I thought it would. It has lots of pictures and explains just how to use different therapies to improve health. I think next time I would get the spiral edition, but it is still a good book to have for my reference.

I did the interferon - ribavirin tx years ago without success . I am presently on the olysio/sovaldi tx which is much easier. Unfortunately ONE STEP didn't cover the newer tx which are 96% successful compared to 40% with Intereron combo tx. The problem is it costs $ 150000 and most insurance companies won't cover it yet. A new combo tx is coming out soon and will a lot cheaper. Also more readily covered by insurance companies. MT

Lucinda is a friend of mine and I don't know where she found the time to write a second book. This is for people new to treatment or TX as us oldtimers refer to it. Its a great book to have in hand when you start making the choices for treating your Hep C WTG Lucinda this is a slam out of the park

Arrived quickly and in good condition. Just don't love the actual book as much as I had hoped. But I would still recommend it.

This book by RN Lucinda K. Porter, is an inspiration to me. Though I do not have Hepatitis C if I did this would be the one book that I wold read throughout my treatments. She has wonderful help and guides for you as you go through treatment to keep you positive andaimed in the right direction. There are also sources you can also go to for help and to find others who are working through the sme treatments. And, unless you think this is a book by an outsider looking in, she is on her third series of treatments--so she knows.J. ACCORDING TO A STATEMENT MADE IN THE BOOK BY ITS SUSPECT AUTHORS, DARWIN PORTER AND DANFORTH PRINCE, 75% OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE WORKED IN THE FILM BUSINESS ARE GAY OR BI-SEXUAL. I'M AMAZED THEY WERE SATISFIED SETTLING ON SUCH A LOW FIGURE SINCE THIS BOOK READS AS THOSE IT'S MORE LIKE 99.999%. THERE'S A WHOLE LOT OF SUPPOSED FIRST HAND QUOTES ABOUT VARIOUS ACTORS, ACTRESSES, DIRECTORS, PRODUCERS, SCREENWRITERS, AGENTS, ETC AND THEIR SEXUAL ESCAPADES/PREFERENCES, BUT 99.999% SITE NO CREDIBLE/VERIFIED SOURCE FOR THE QUOTES WHATSOEVER, THUS REDUCING THESE JUICILY DETAILED STATEMENTS TO NOTHING MORE THAN A BUNCH OF WORDS SURROUNDED BY QUOTATION MARKS. SORRY, BUT PORTER AND DANFORTH COME OFF AS NOTHING MORE THAN A COUPLE OF DITHERY OLD QUEENS(WHOSE GAY/BI STATS ARE PROBABLY MORE LIKE WISHFUL THINKING) PEDDLING A LOT OF UNSUBSTANTIATED GIGGLY/BITCHY GOSSIP.

Being an ardent fan of Kenneth Anger's "Hollywood Babylon I & II", and not having yet read Porter and Prince's previous entry in the HB series (but nonetheless having read several reviews), I had mixed expectations for this book. Mostly, what I was looking for was some questionably-sourced yet entertaining old-Hollywood tabloid fodder, with perhaps a taste of the old Anger magic that made the first two such a delightful read. What I got was a mess of poorly strung-together essays that essentially accuse everyone that's ever set foot in West L.A. of being gay, along with aimless rundowns of the relative endowments of select Tinselstown guys and gals. If one were to accept the whole body of text as fact, one would have to believe that author Darwin Porter had, by amazing coincidence, deep personal relationships with nearly every notoriously promiscuous woman in classic Hollywood and it's fringes. Another particularly obnoxious aspect of this book is the poor quality of the layout. Apparently, the authors and/or publishers felt that a competent graphic designer or typesetter was an unnecessarily frivolous expense, and the result is page after page of messy clutter, somewhat resembling a newsletter made in LotusWrite on a Commodore 64.Much like "Death Wish", the first sequel of "Hollywood Babylon", made by the same principal player(s), lives up to it's predecessor, but when the ensuing sequels are placed in different hands, the resultant quality tanks. And, like "Death Wish IV", while there may be some redeeming entertainment value in it's unabashed kitschiness, that it will inevitably remain in the shadows of it's great origins will forever skew the reader's impression of this milquetoast, mercenary bit of opportunistic fluff.

As I started reading this book I was very I intrigued. Found out a lot of shocking information that I never expected. The chapter segments are short so it's a good read if your on the go and don't have a lot of time and don't feel like stopping mid chapter and have to try and remember where you left off. I'm half way thru reading it and am hooked! Ill be getting more of the Babylon series in the future. Great read if you want shocking scandalous Hollywood stories.

It was a good read and very interesting. Keep in mind that this is not the same author of the first two Hollywood Babylons which were very interesting. I would suggest the book CUT by Barrons. It has a couple of hundred stars with short bios.

Really sleazy stuff. If you believe this book, every person who ever lived in or worked in Hollywood as an actor or actress was bisexual. I'm no prude but really just too much b.s.

Lots of good stories about many of Hollywood's greatest actors.

I bought this as a gift for my wife and she is really loving the book!

I can't put this book down.... just what I was looking for.... smut from back when Hollywood stars were real "stars"......

As someone who purchased and enjoyed Bellomo's books on Star Wars and Transformers, I was eager to see what he had to say about GI Joe and I was not disappointed. This book really does a top notch job on revisiting the era of GI Joe: A Real American Hero and provides a thorough description on the action figures, vehicles, and play-sets. The book is very informative and filled with bits culled from Larry Hama himself.It is a fun read and a nice trip down memory lane. One word: the new book is a hardcover and it took me longer than usual to get - I guess a lot of people want this book. But hang in there, it's well worth the wait.

No GIJOE fan of any age should be without this modern toy bible. First, the hardcover, hundreds of color glossy pages, and so many details will be an essential tool for any collector for years to come. Second, the printing quality is superb. Third, I mean, its GIJOE. How can you go wrong with it???Note: This is perfect if your collector focuses on the figures or vehicles and accessories loose, and likes a little history thrown in with each item. Super detailed. I hear the author is a decent guy too.

This book is beyond what I was expecting! It's hard backed and very well organized from start to finish. The only drawbacks are that there's no table of contents or glossary. Besides that, it is a must have for any serious collector or beginner wanting information about the series. Great coffee table book and a wealth of information!

Got the first 2 editions and was not disappointed by this one. The hardcover was a great touch & all the work Mark does is above and beyond. A great trilogy for the G.I. Joe collector. If you missed the first 2 editions don’t miss this one. Its a missing piece to help complete or add to your collection.

I loved is book. Anither improved edition. I loved the inclusion of more information on the pack-in material such as the face paint and rings. I have only two complanints. I would rather have seen even more info on the pack-ins rather than images of the blueprints, and also there was no index as promised. When there are over 500 figures and 300 vehicles/ bases/accessories spread out over 13 series, there needs to be an index.

I grew up playing with these toys but no longer have them. I've been tempted to pick some up on ebay but I don't know where I'd put them. This book really helps out filling that nostalgia feeling. Looking through the book I can see all the toys I had as well as the ones I wished I'd had. Beautiful photos and nice descriptions give a great view of each piece.

This book is awesome. The information is critical to me collecting and selling of Joes. The current prices are on point. The illustrations and pics are beautifully arranged throughout the book.

Flipping Amazing love every page, and it full of detailed pictures and wonderful information to assist any level of collector.

I had never heard of Bill O'Reilly before, so I bought the book because the subject matter sounded interesting, and I thought it would give me a quick insight into this popular personality. He has some interesting stories about his interviews with famous people, but what surprised me the most was how he prefaced every story with how dramatic and insightful his questions were, but yet the stories frequently turned out to be rather bland and ordinary. This guy obviously is in love with himself, and greatly over-values his interviewing ability, but I have to give him credit for attacking the B.S. spun by cynical public figures. We desperately need guys like this - I just wish he'd let his Press Agent do the patting on the back. For a guy who so vehemently attacks the the "spin zone" of public figures, he does a significant amount of web-spinning around his own performance.

I loved the first book and pre-ordered this one months in advance. While I did enjoy it, I agree with some of the other reviewers that thought it fell a little short. As someone who is not an avid reader, I do appreciate the quick and easy read, however it didn't provide much of anything beyond what regular viewers already know. I would like to see Bill wait a few more years and do a larger compendium release with a whole cross-section of interviews instead of a mere handful of the most popular with a few quick comments. I'd love to know what goes on behind the scenes and some of the conversations off-camera. Not a bad book, but not quite up to expectations either. On another note, I feel sorry for some of the "reviewers" on here who are so filled with hatred. Maybe they should stick with Oprah's Book Club. Have they nothing better to do?

This book is very good, but not nearly as good as The O'Reilly Factor: The Good, the Bad, and the Completely Ridiculous in American Life. The first book was much better. In this follow up O'Reilly takes a one or two page excerpt from interviews he's done on his show, then uses nine or ten pages to tell why the "opponent" is wrong. Since O'Reilly uses about ten more pages than his "opponent" to get his point across, you can either agree with him or throw the book in the corner. I would much rather O'Reilly just go on rants of his own, rather than try to make himself look better by putting down one of his "opponents". And why does he refer to his guests as "opponents", is this really a contest or is it journalism?

Okay, I admit it - I enjoy Bill O'Reilly. I watch the O'Reilly Factor on Fox News and listen to the Radio Factor. With that said, I think this is a book that fans of O'Reilly will enjoy. Interesting, quick hitting stories that are O'Reilly's trademark. In this book he confronts George W. Bush, Susan Sarandon, Rev. Sharpton, and even the Clintons. Some of the stories are takes right from the Factor.A bit of criticism - I would have preferred a bit more depth. O'Reilly continued to do in the written form what he does on the air - short and pithy. With a book, he could have provided much more opinion and fact than he can during his shows. Even so, a fun read.

Have been watching O'Reilly for a couple of years now, and appreciate his direct, no nonsense style, and his ruthless tenacity in pursuing under reported but important issues and people.All of that is present in spades in this book.... He writes with the same staccato style he uses on his program, wherein lies my criticism. I would rate the book at five stars, but much of the book is transcriptions of his TV show (which I have already seen) and I was hoping for more new information and insights. Good reading for O'Reilly neophytes or if to get a different view of the people and issues he takes on.

I used to watch hos show but haven't for several years. I don't remember even buying this book.

Liked the book. Typical Bill O'Reilly with lots of I this and that. Read the factor first and enjoyed it more.
